Type 2 Diabetes Causes Symptoms and Treatment ???

I have a systolic blood pressure of 150mmHg while my diastolic blood pressure is 74mmHg.?
While I know that I am hypertensive and will resume my medications, I was wondering why my diastolic pressure is low. Is this consistent with hypertension since all literature points to diastolic pressure being more than 90mmHg for one to be considered hypertensive.
Your diastolic pressure is actually very good. 80 mm Hg is now considered pre-hypertensive. Blood pressure is supposed to be less than 120/80. You only need one number to be high to have hypertension. Definitely continue with your medication. Lowering your blood pressure is the best thing you can do to help prevent strokes and heart attacks.

ttc 4yrs starting to loose hope?
i think im giving up now?!?! im 24 my husband and i have been ttc for 4yrs now i have pcos since 17 and we always wanted to have our family young so we can have all 4 kid b4 30 well doesnt look like thats gonna happen i doubt if we get 1 b4 30yr now ive been charting reading books and i see im not ovulating now i spoke with obgyn she wont give me clomid because of health risk cause im over weight ive been struggling with weight since a child and now it seems like my weight has me infirtle ive been very depressed lately and i have been trying to loose weight and its not working she say its important to do so i dont develope diabetes and high bp during pregnancy i think ive been so disapointed and angry that im giving up now i cant find any hope
Being overweight is a symptom of pcos. And it is hard to loose weight when you have pcos. Go online and order some cook books with recipies for pcos and stick to those reciepes. It will help you loose weight. I would also go to a different doctor!!! Don't give up. Try really hard for 6 months to loose weight, walk alot and try a new diet (it is healthy for you and tastes great) I have really struggled to loose weight aswell and this has really helped me out!! Having a high GI diet can actually make pcos worse so look at some info and do your best and in 6 months you will see a huge difference!!! Good luck!

How long will it take for a meat diet to improve the health of a diabetic cat?
So my friend's biscuit-fed cat finally got diabetes. I think I've convinced him to switch it to an all-meat diet, but he wants to know how much it will actually help, and how long before it'll make a difference. Anyone got any experiences to share?
A low carb diet can often "cure" diabetes or at the very least, lessen the amount and/or frequency of insulin. If you start early after the diagnosis, around 80% of cats can be cured. It's not as effective if the cat has been diabetic for some time. Sometimes you'll have the cat back to normal in as little as a week. All cats are a bit different and some may take longer. even without nueropathy, it's possible diabetes may be a cause or just a contributing factor. Many uncontrolled diabetics have frequent muscle cramps due to dehydration (since they are loosing more water due to frequent urination, they also loose electrolytes, and that imballance can cause cramps). i am living on my own and today i was diagnosed with diabetes, where do i look for help as i hav no family?
I totally understand about being diagnosed with diabetes and I was in 2000 and probably went undiagnosed for years and years and was diagnosed simply by an accident. It will and does change your life but not destroy it. If you follow the rules you can live a long and fun and happy life. I too am alone in this battle and no one really seems to understand but I will continue to follow the rules and enjoy life to the best of my ability and hope you can too.
