When I check my blood pressure, it ranges from 90/60 to 115/70. When I use the ones in grocery stores, I get high readings like 140/88. At the docs last yr. it was 122/80. I am 33 year old male, 5'10, 160 pounds, eat healthy & walk daily.

When you go to see the doc it's always higher.

I had a terrible night last night. I do have problems with excess mucous, but last night was terrible. I went to bed and felt like I was drowning in my mucous. Sorry to be so gross. I felt like I could hardly breathe at all, breathing was so faint and shallow. I breathe through my nose at night. I have a pulse oximeter machine and checked to see my oxygen levels while laying in bed-sometimes it was 93, and went to 91 at one point. I went to take a Sudafed and did not fall asleep till 5 a.m. I am not sure when to be worried about the oxygen levels, and what can I do to get rid of the mucous. I was so scared I was going to choke in my sleep. Anyone have any advice??
In the ER we don't like for your oxygen level to drop below 90. As far as the mucous, I would see a doctor to see if there is anything you can take for it. In the mean time try laying on your side and see if that helps.

I just joined Demand Studios, and my first article got rejected. They want a whole rewrite. The article was about "Tools Registered Nurses Use."
The CE said my article contained "general tools" that can be found in any first aid kit. They said I needed to talk about tools only a Registered Nurse can use because they have a license to do so.
They thought an IV bag, stethoscope, Sphygmomanometer, Bandages, Syringe, & Thermometer weren't good enough in my 500 word article.
My wife is a registered nurse and runs a blog. She said that is all she uses on the job. So how dare this person tell me nurses don't use that, when I know those are the main tools they use. Sure, doctors and specialized people (like Xray techs) use fancy machines. But RN's do NOT!
When I asked this question on here, guess what the RN's said? Exactly what my wife told me.
Anyway, end of rant. Are there any sites at all that pay up-front for completed articles?
I know of one that pays freelancers by the hour. If you work an hour you get paid for that hour guaranteed. There are tons of different jobs you can do on this site so it's great for any skills you may have. There are a lot of article writing jobs on there I noticed. I hope this helps you!

CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES (Diabetic)
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. brown sugar substitute
1 egg or egg substitute
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 c. oatmeal
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. skim milk
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter and brown sugar substitute. Add egg and vanilla, cream until light. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk, stir in chocolate chips. Drop by rounded teaspoon onto prepared cookie sheet. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until brown and crispy.
Makes 36 cookies.
