A Diabetes Question?
Okay, I'm an insulin-dependant diabetic. Am I allowed to eat oatmeal? This should be answered by an expert in Diabetes or Nutrition, so please, no guesses.
Okay. Same question about milk? About cereals like Corn Flakes?
You must test this out for yourself!!!
check your glucose number
eat the oatmeal or drink the milk or whatever other food you want at this moment.
check your glucose again after 90 minutes to 2 hours and decide if you can afford the amount of insulin it will take to handle the carbs in this food without causing you to gain weight.
This is no guess!! This is practical experience!!
