my nerves are shot and i am a diabetic and well I have been on computer wrote letters played games and even watching American Idol and still I feel bored to death got any ideas I can do to help me stop eating and feeling so blue? oh my son had a seizure last thursday and his organs shut down and it been a long week. he is doing good now. just wondering how to stop my nerves being so bad. got any help let me hear it. thanks!

Do some word puzzles in a book instead of on your phone or computer. Sometimes you just need to get away from electronics. Try to meditate. Sit quietly and comfortably, lay your hands out on your legs, close your eyes, be sure it is quiet. Try to not think about anything but your breathing. Stay like this for at least 10 minutes a day. Increase your time as the days go by. Or you could do it more than once a day if you want. That should help you relax. Only eat fresh vegetables and fruit for snacks.

Best way for smooth finish on painted interior trim?
I am installing and painting new pre-primed MDF trim in a house. Once nail holes and joints are filled, I'm lightly sanding overall with fine paper for a smooth finish. I'm using an airless sprayer with a tip that provides approximately 6" coverage, spraying a white semi-gloss interior latex. The finished product is smooth, but obviously has dust nibs and some overspray from nearby trim. Remembering a technique from auto painting, I lightly scuffed a sample piece of painted trim with an extra-fine sanding pad and then applied a wax/polish normally used for gel-coat and fiberglass. The result was an unbelievably smooth finish, but very fine scratches are visible when the light hits it just right. Has anyone used a technique similar to "color sanding" with interior latex and if so, what should be used as a final polish instead of the gel-coat polish? Maybe a polishing compound between sanding and wax? Any info is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Okay, so lately both my wrists have been hurting when i put pressure on them or bend them back. My right wrist was hurting last night and i had my husband rub it, it still hurt so when i went to bed i slept on the opposite side of the hurting one. Well i had to work in which i continuously stand. My hand was turning purple and throbbing and in alot of pain, i couldnt spread my fingers apart or anything and my arm was swollen and it started to hurt my back eventually. I couldnt keep it above my heart or even on my stomach because i would get exaughsted. When i sit down though it hurts less because the blood doesnt rush to my hand and my arm doesnt hurt as much. What do you think it is? My other wrist is fine cept it hurts when i bend it back or put alot of pressure.

Do you take your short acting insulin with you to a restaurant?
I'm newly diagnosed diabetic. I have to use lantus once a day and novolog on a sliding scale at meals and bedtime. Today is the first time I'm going to a restaurant for lunch. Should I take insulin and go in restroom and test and inject if needed? I never see anyone injecting themselves at restaurant tables. Do you take in restroom or just not take insulin at all? I really don't want to look stupid. What do you do?
I just inject under the table.
At a restaurant you'll need your insulin, because you'll eat more than normal.
Just inject as usual, and no-one will notice, or care.
I never do it in a rest room, far too unhygienic.
Don't let anyone tell you you can't do it.
